Hi, I’m Subin, the artist behind Pretty Books Studio!

I first discovered sprayed edges in 2024 when I joined Bookstagram, and I was instantly captivated. But in South Korea, these beautiful editions were rare—so I decided to create my own. Using gouache watercolor paint, I hand-painted my first book, transforming it into something truly special.

What started as a personal project soon became a passion for blending books with art. Reading is more than just words on a page—it’s about escapism, imagination, and finding a whole new world. And when a book looks as magical as the story inside, that experience becomes even richer.
