Designed to match the fore-edge paintings of the former books in the series of Red Queen and Glass Sword, this design features Maven Calore and an overall blue fire aesthetics. Maven's gaze is reaching toward a silver crown directly inspired from the cover, and his bright blue eyes is accentuated.

The top and bottom edge is adorned with a continuous blue flame while the bottom edge has an additional painting of the silver crown from the book's front cover.
